Simpson Library Hours
To alert patrons that the library is closing, bells will sound at 30 minutes, 15 minutes, and 5 minutes prior to closing. Please bring all materials to the Circulation Desk that you wish to have checked out at least 15 minutes before the library closes. All services cease and entrances are locked 15 minutes prior to closing.
An Eagle One ID is required to remain in the building after 10pm, Sunday through Thursday.

Special Collections Hours
Special Collections is open during the Fall and Spring semesters on Tuesdays and Wednesdays 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM and by appointment at 540-654-1752.
Directions and Parking for Simpson Library
Simpson Library is located on the northern end of the Fredericksburg Campus, facing Campus Walk and between the Woodard Campus Center and the Jepson Science Center. From College Avenue, Simpson Library is located behind duPont Hall. Please see the Fredericksburg Campus Map and Directions for directions to the Fredericksburg Campus.
Handicap parking is available at the side of the Jepson Science Center, accessible via the drive leading to Jepson. Other visitors are encouraged to park in spaces on College Avenue. Please note that parking in all University lots on the Fredericksburg Campus is restricted; more information on Visitor Parking is available at Fredericksburg Campus Map and Directions and from the University Police’s Motor Vehicle Policy and Regulations.
